I built a new pc recently and have never had it fully working :(

after building the system i received constant blue screens with errors many different errors all referencing the windows kernel.

I've tried everything obvious to try and fix the system but have had no luck. I took the pc back to re parts retailer and they tested it for 2 weeks but couldn't figure it out?

I will attach my dump files, if anyone can figure it out it would be an incredible help and i love you long time.

OS - Windows 10
x64
OS purchased from retailer
Age of system (hardware) - brand new
Age of OS installation - have you re-installed the OS? - yes
CPU model - 8600k
Video Card model - 1070
Mother Board - (if NOT a laptop) - ASUS z370 prime-a
Power Supply - brand & wattage - corsair rm550x
hyper x fury 16gb ddr4 2133
Samsung 850 evo
seagate barracuda

Have you changed any bios settings? Might want to disable any overclocking. and check that you have the bios settings correct. I have had to fix a computer once.

WHat had happened is that the guy bought another set of ram, 2 more sticks of 8gb and put them in his computer. exact duplicate of what he already had, but he got memory errors in windows, but memtest worked fine, the ram was supported in a 2x8 formation, but nor 4x8. so might want to chesk your motherboards ram compatability table:

Best just to check, is all. if i had it in front of me could probably fix it in no time.

But you might want to go through your BIOS, Might have a single bad setting screwing everything up.

Have you tried an ubuntu install? Even just running it from a usb stick or dvd can help with stability testing.

Hope fully we'll beable to help, but i have to head off to work.

Good Luck.

Can I just check if you are using 4 sticks of RAM? Check the qualified vendor list on the Asus website to see if the RAM is compatible. I had exactly the same issue you had and it turned out 4 sticks of the HyperX ram I had was not compatible and the Strix Z370-F was only validated with my particular ram to run max 2 sticks in dual channel mode. - Anyway if you are using 4 sticks of RAM - try just using 2 and see if that works

If you had read previous posts, you would have seen that this has already been checked.
