I have a PC made from leftovers and hand me downs and need a graphics card,

I plan to play at 1080p on a TV -

The PC has the following specs

I5 4690 (non K)

H81 Asus MB

8gb DDR3 1600mhz

What do you think would be a decent pairing, was thinking a 1050TI/RX560 or thereabouts?

Yes, and at the price it would be a little hard to recommend the 1050ti. If you have the extra funds of course. The 1050ti would work just fine, but the 1060 is only a few bucks more. The 1060 also requires more power and has a higher power consumption.

That boils down to personal choice on where you want to be budget wise.
