PS4 will not connect to a specific TV

FactorOfLife

Hi,

I'm asking for help here because I have no other options left.

So I recently decided to move my PS4 to the basement, only to find that the PS4 refuses to send an hdmi signal to that specific TV. At the moment, the PS4 works with every TV in the house except for this TV, and it even used to work with this TV at one point in time.

Here's what I've tried, all to no avail:

Different HDMI cable

Different port on the TV

Restarting the TV

Unplugging the TV, waiting 30 seconds, and plugging it back in (some people on a forum said that worked)

Manually setting the resolution to various resolutions (1080p, 1080i, 720p, 480p - it's a 1080p TV)

Disabling HDCP and HDMI device link

Updating the PS4

Updating the TVs firmware (there is none available)

Factory resetting the TV

Booting into safe mode (still no signal)

I've tried contacting playstation support, only for them to tell me it's not the PS4s fault since it works on my other TVs

I'm completely clueless and would appreciate any ideas that you might have.

Btw, the TV is a Sanyo DP46841 1080p 46" TV from 2011

Thanks in advance

Try a different device on the HDMI ports... seriously sounds like the controller board is bad on the TV personally.
