TS comes up with an idea, me suggesting using a PS/2 keyboard.

TS quotes my kinda off-topic/off-solution 3rd reply, and votes own reply as best answer. How does that work?

Anyways: Shit, now I need to open a bitcoin wallet.

(since you can get into your BIOS, you still might want to update it because it's giving you issues. You might also want to look for issues with BIOS functions/older versions. I used to have an AM2 mobo which would be able to support higher end AM3+ CPU's. It would require an special official non-official BIOS version, which would have to disable USB devices to get moar power. Rather off-topic example, but still an example where BIOS version would impact USB functionality. But in the end, if you haven't changed anything in the BIOS yet, it should still have worked again with your USB keyboard)

This is a somewhat cheap prebuilt I purchased to run Linux on. After about 3 hours of trying to find the BIOS key or anything at all for the computer, I have resorted to my go-to for things like this. It is a CyberPowerPC [GUA1200BST]

Please. If you get me to where I can access BIOS I will send some bitcoin or ether your way. Help much needed!

why? I spent about 70 dollars in monitor mode WiFi adapters, so pls

below is the model of the mobo and the humorous version number (not photoshopped, use fotoforensics if you don’t believe me)

If you give me a few minutes, I'll open a wallet.

If it doesn't work: RMA it.

*PS: manual said you had to press the DEL key, just keep smacking that key when you turn it on.

Obligatory "have you tried spamming delete/F2 when booting up?"

Both don’t seem to work. Not sure if it is ignoring my input or what, I’ve tried holding delete and f2,as well as rapidly spamming them. Should I try different keyboard?

Yes, just entering it would be enough for me. Perhaps I need to force it into bios somehow?

If the del key works, it should also work for pressing the DEL key during the loading screen. But if it's an USB keyboard, it will never hurt to try and use a PS/2 keyboard. If it came with an USB keyboard, I would consider RMA-ing it anyways, since you already call it a pc from hell. (and it just doesn't function like it should, according to the manual)

Before I RMA it i might as well email the company that makes the computer and see where that gets me.

In Windows 10 you can boot into bios via settings

That’s not what I’m looking for, and my PC doesn’t have that as an option, that is, if you are talking about Advanced restart stuff.

PS: there seem to be (windows) tools to update your BIOS. If wallmart had put in some locks, it might break them.

Although you didn’t fix it, you made it better. I used different keyboard and bam. Worked first try. Thx lol.
