When I play Battlefield 1 my RAM usage is at 10GB. I don't stream or run anything in the background.

I've seen OBS use up to 500 MB of memory while streaming (half a gig is a lot when you only have 8 to work with), and considering many games these days are pushing upwards of 8+ GB alone I think you want to add more memory.

If you're just streaming indie games you're probably fine, but anything bigger might become a stuttery mess without enough RAM.

Current Build:

CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X53

PSU: EVGA G6 Supernova 850

Case: NZXT S340 Elite

Current Laptop:

Model: Asus ROG Zephyrus G14

CPU: Ryzen 9 5900HS

GPU: RTX 3060

RAM: 16GB @3200 MHz

Alright, so maybe I'll better off just get another 2X8Gb and just making it 24Gb.

It depends on the kind of games that you will be playing, I do recommend you get 16GB if you want to do streaming as well. You can always get 8GB now and upgrade to 16 later on. DDR4 prices are fluctuating constantly but now is a decent time to buy.

I already have 8Gb. i'm thinking im just going to get another 16GB and just make it a total of 24GB. Iplay overwatch, ESO, PubG  alot of different games. at leat with 24GB i should be covered.

Thanks for all the help Everyone!

In some of the more demanding ones 8GB isnt enough, you'll get stuttering, freezing cuz game will dump game associated files on much slower HDD or SSD pagefile, i learned this the hard way, these days for gaming 16 GB is the safest bet.

In my opinion 8gb would be enough. I have 9 year old pc. And that can play latest games. Also my friend have Intel i5 , 8gb ram and GTX 1050. He plays and stream games daily.

For the 3 recent games I play I wouldn’t do it with 8. But that’s ddr3, may be more lenient with ddr4.
