Hi everyone. So after updating my graphics drivers to the latest 17.12.1 drivers, my clockspeed has been pinned at 300mhz and my memory speed at 1200mhz. They were both previously 1375mhz and 8120mhz respectively. I've checked the temps and theyre at 45 degrees Celsius so its definitely not thermal throttling. Whats the best thing to do now? its my first time having problems like this so Uninstall and reinstall drivers or what?

Thanks!!

you could first always try to do a fresh install, tough rolling back to the previous version is always an option.

AMD should have a backlog on their site somewhere.

Hi! I also had this problem with my RX580 a week ago. What solved it for me was using DDU to uninstall drivers, and also uninstalling AORUS Graphics Engine (I have a Gigabyte card). If you also have this installed (or any other 3rd Party overclocking app), I suggest you stay away from them, at least for now.

Oh obviously, reinstall the latest drivers (17.2.2) after doing all that cleaning.

If nothing's working, you could try going to the Preferences tab in the AMD Settings application, and resetting the whole thing.

I had the opposite problem for several days: My GPU would not go below 100% clock speed even when idle. I reset to "factory settings" and everything works as intended now.

I just did that too, I have a 1070 that is clocked at 2150 stable and Aorus Graphics engine repeatedly lost my custom profiles.  Switched to tried and true afterburner
