The Headphone conundrum

Hi all, My pair of headphones aren't cutting it so with my christmas cashola I did some reasearch for some headphones that meet my needs (aspiring music producer, casual gamer) and i came out happy with the ATH-M40x, BUT I found this under the similar section https://www.centrecom.com.au/audio-technica-ath-sr5-on-ear-hi-res-audio-headphones-black ! ($274 headphones for $119)  Now I'm confused. Please share you're thoughts.

Look for other sources on the headphones price. Some places lie on the "orginal price" to make it seem you got a bargain. Also the ath sr5 headphones are on ear headphones, not around ear.

seems to be selling for €124 here, so i'd say that the original price sounds rather inflated.

i found the logitech g633 for $112 new condition here, but if your taste isn't gaming the M40x is fine
