Cloud II or Alpha

Im choosing between the Cloud II and the Cloud Alpha. 

The Cloud alpha seems like the best headsets you can get for $100 but they dont have 7.1 surround sound. 

The Cloud II I can get for about $50 but they came out two years ago so I dont know if they are still worth it in late 2017

 

The mic is pretty important to me and im unsure about this double sound chamber mechanic

Witch one should I get?

from the video i have watched i say go for the Cloud II because it is very good from ergonomic to noise cancellation in the mic

"Make it future proof for some years at least, don't buy "only slightly better" stuff that gets outdated 1 year, that's throwing money away" @pipoawas

 

-Frequencies DON'T represent everything and in many cases that is true (referring to Individual CPU Clocks).
