rgb RGB stips Compatible

I have the motherboard "Msi b350 Tomahawk Arctic" And want to light up my case with white LED. I see they use 5050 led strips. But do they need any-external power.

The RGB header on the motherboard both powers and controllers the lights just note that for the length of LED's your run they must not exceed the rated output amperage for the LED header.

That Strip is perfectly fine, However with Motherboard headers you can only go up to 2 meters in length. You will need to cut it at 2 meters or less.
