I am planning to redo my home network and servers. I got the networking gear (cisco) and the hardware for the servers (mostly). I need to figure out what operating system will be the best option for me.

I need to be able to access the nas from Windows and phones (both main OS's).

I need to be able to run multiple VM's on it.

Would like to be able to add more storage as time goes on without much hassle.

I was looking at unRAID and freeNas but neither seem to support VM's.

Options for me? I know I could do it with Linux and use webmin for easy configuration but rather not do it that way if I can.
