Kind of a silly one with my deletion of files

HazeTheBeater

Hey everyone, I was just needing some help. The thing is that I usually use my recycling bin to perma delete stuff from my pc and my desktop got filled up with stuff I dont have the time to sort and organize and its hard to find it now.

I used to open Library (This thing:http://prntscr.com/hr9ou6) then to desktop, then I tried to find it by its little recognizable icon and use it. But now its not there for some reason either. Now I usually google the command to run in cmd to open it because i found it to be the handiest way but googling it and finding the code is kinda... Takes a lot. I was wondering if anyone knew a more practical way to find it and make use of it. And if you're wondering I googled how to fix this, and the most common fix is to go to control panel and set the icon to "active" mode or something like that but that appears to be already enabled but I still can't find it.

PS: Im sorry if my english sucks, Im from south america and learned english voluntarily at school.

You can search for 'recycle bin' in the Windows Start Menu. You can type it into Cortana or press the windows start button and then search for it.

I've never used windows 8 so I, unfortunately, I can't help any more than Google.

Try this....

Left click on your desktop > select personalise > click on themes > on the right hand side under related settings click on desktop icon settings > under desktop icons make sure that recycle bin is ticked > click on apply and then OK.

These instructions are for Win 10 but they may help you  seeing as you are on Win 8.1

It is ticked according to this
