booted ubuntu 16.04 can't find drives

so recently i installed ubuntu on my internal drive, i have 2 other drives (a 1 tb external, and 128 gb external) but i formatted them in a certain way i forgot which format i put them in but they don't appear anymore

i'd like to boot again with windows so how could i find the drive?

What are they not appearing in? Have you tried using gparted?

If you're trying to boot from them, why do you need Ubuntu to see them?
