I have an i5 6600k and i've been having horrible issues with it recently where i can't use my dual montitors as i get extremely high cpu usage like 100% if i put google chrome on 2 monitors it will go above 50% usage and the second monitor becomes unresponsive/laggy and unbearable to use.

just tried Firefox and it's even worse

hey this happened to me too!

just playing dota or csgo makes it 100% utilization from my cpu w/c btw is i5-6600k it fluctuates to 12% - 100%

really?? I've only started to experience this recently, before i could watch 3 streams at once on my second monitor and it would be fine but now i can barely watch 1..

I would check if you have any extensions running in the background and possibly run a virus scan with Malwarebytes.

i dont have any anti virus i just dont open shady sites,im fine now it doesnt throttle like before but i dont know what did i do i wish i could tell you 

if there is any reply in mine go check it cuz i want to know why too.

Try disabling the extensions, one by one, and seeing how Twitch does with the stream.

scan is all clear, I have switched to Opera and there's a huge difference in CPU usage.

(Watching a stream on Opera @900p60)

Use Opera in the meantime, but try to clean Chrome and Firefox by reinstalling or try an older version of the browsers.

I've tried reinstalling, I guess I could try older versions but Opera doesn't seem too bad for now. Appreciate the help though, Merry Christmas!
