Anxious about new things

Anyone else get anxious about their things functioning properly when you get them?

 

Whenever I buy something new, especially if it’s more expensive, I get anxious about every little thing, worrying if it’s making a weird noise, if it’s damaged in some way, will it continue to work, etc, and if I convince myself one thing is ok, I come up with something else that’s wrong with it. As time passes i end up not caring. But that can take weeks.

 

am I the only one?? If so maybe I’ll institutionalize myself this afternoon.
