My 1060 6GB is most profitable on Zcash for me. And I switched from nanopool over to flypool since it seemed like they were taking a rather significant cut of my hashing power.

How long have you been mining for? Have you noticed any performance loss over the time?

Not real long at all. Maybe a week and a half. My profitability has actually gone up a bit as I have been optimizing my cards over time. I'll have to see how the recent crashes in all of the coins will affect difficulty and profitability over the next little bit

Ohh, alrigth. Let me get this straight, you're mining Ethereum, just not in Nanopool, right? I use myetherwallet, can I mine Ethereum for Zcash and get my payments on myetherwallet? Also, does Zcash have a minimum payout?

Also, what software do you use to mine on Zcash? I can only see the configuration instructions for EWBF and Nicehash.

No, Im mining Zcash instead of ethereum. The mining pool i use is flypool. I do my payouts to Cryptonator. I use Cryptonator to exchange to whatever I want then I offload that to other places so its not just sitting on a vulnerable service.

on my main desktop that has the 1060, i use EWBF. I forgot what software i use on my other rig that has amd gpus

I haven't, why? Should I try?

Sorry for the super late reply, was busy with the christmas weekend.

Definitely, imo Nvidia GPUs are more profitable on Zcash. My 980Ti and 1060 are more profitable in my use case. I'm still torn over flypool and nanopool tho. Try mining Zcash and compare that to your Ether earnings and see the difference.

What wallet are you using for your Zcash?

I use Cryptonator as my wallet although it is not recommended but I only have very small amounts in there. For the miner, I use EWBF miner. Nanopool gives you the commands to input in the bat file on their help page if you want to mine there. If you need help with the bat file for EWBF, lemme know and I can write the bat file for you.

I'll look into cryptonator. Creating the .bat should be easy, but if I need help, I'll let you know. Thanks a lot for your input!
