here is what i currently have. £1000 ($1340.95) would be fine

BTW might want a secondary mechanical drive if you're gonna be video editing.

Try installing windows, programs and storing video files on that SSD, good luck haha!

A HDD will cost £40 for a 1TB one most likely, do it :)

Don't forget to @me / quote me for a reply =]

do i want a liquid cooler on the ryzen 7 1700(x)

Is this overkill for video editing, gaming and future SLI

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/4CBHYr

Probably not, the 1700 comes with a pretty beefy RGB cooler already. Even if you did plan to overclock a 120mm AIO isn't the best option. I would switch the 16GB of RAM that you had that was $170 with the one that I listed that was $120. RAM Prices are insane these days, but they're only getting worse. I would keep that 650W power supply, I didn't see that there.

Even though OP said he wants it, unless it's 70/30 video editing/gaming, it's absolutely not worth it.

Video editing will be a nightmare in only 8gb of ram. my build will only need maz 404 watts so RM550x is a good option

That's £400 over the original budget?

That liquid cooler is stupid. It's louder, less reliable and doesn't cool as well as cheaper air coolers.

That motherboard is overpriced. Something like a Prime Plus is a better board.

That RAM is not available.

Unless you do ~70/30 video editing/gaming, you won't notice the difference between the 960 Evo and a decent SATA SSD. For Windows boot times and game launch times, there is no difference between an NVMe drive and an SSD.

The 1070 Ti has the wrong price listed.

Why an ODD?

:)

Wrong price listed.

What do you mean "wrong price listed"?

Also, faster memory don't really help with preformance at all, especially if you're on a budget and looking for the best bang for your buck.
