Questions regarding touch lcd conversion

Hey everyone 

So here is my problem I am currently building a custom built gaming rig and I have a touchscreen lcd from a broken Lenovo IdeaPad s510 touch( i7 version) which I would like to turn into a touchscreen monitor so I can use it when I'm not gaming 

 

I did some research and only saw people doing this with non touch lcd 

 

What would I need to make this work?
