Mac High Sierra in vmware iMessage and GPU

I am currently running mac 10.13 on VMware workstation 14 pro. the system works decently well, however, iMessage continues to be a problem and I am unable to log in to iMessage. Additionally, the laptop I am running it on has a GTX 1050 with 2 GB of VRAM, I am also unable to take advantage of this in the guest operating system. I have followed the instructions located here (https://github.com/toshmatik/VMWare-iMessage/blob/master/instructions.md). however, i get an authentication error when I try to log in.  the attached photo is of the authentication error, and below is a coppy of my .vmx file.

Isn't Messages nearly impossible to get working on non-Apple hardware (or am I just imagining that)?

Although it's not really a good idea to discuss on the forum, it's quite easy from my experience with VMs, just need to get the UEFI to use a serial number that isn't a real system, and it should be smooth sailing from there.

Not actually the database software, just some furry. Vintage tech enthusiast, has more old tech than they know what to do with.

Main system: i5-4690k, 16GB DDR3, 2x120GB SSD, 2TB HDD, CD-ROM Drive (in 2017 lol), R9 270X 2GB, Windows 7

Laptop: MacBookPro9,1, i7-3615QM, 8GB DDR3, 256GB SSD, GT650M 512MB, macOS 10.13

Huh, well then.

You'd probably have more luck over at tonymacx86.com

Getting MacOS running, yeah. Messages, from what I've read has always seemed to be impossible.

I found Messages to be quite easy, it USED to be impossible, now just a quick serial change and reboot, done.

This is just what happens when you VM macOS.

If you want it to work you'll have to make a full Hackintosh but the forum does not like that.

That's not useful for the client version of VMware. As for iMessage, it's kind of hit or miss on if it will work. I'd look somewhere else though, because we can't really discuss Hackintosh stuff here.

Main System: Phobos
