Hey!

Dont have much info to go off of, but just recently in the past 2 weeks, my computer has been randomly freezing (Screen freezing) and you cant do anything but click the reset button on the case, Its not even happening when the computer is under stress playing games, its random I could be doing a project on Microsoft and it would happen.

One of my friends told me it could be because my computer is overheating, but temps seem fine, or Malware on the computer, so I reset my PC to fac. settings, and its still happing, I dont even download anything.

Any ideas how to trouble shoot?

Thanks!!

Have you opened up your computer recently and moved around some things/took them out; put them back? Check all of your connections, CPU even.

"May your frame rates be high and your temperatures low"

I misread titles/posts way too often--correct me if I don't.

Prime 95 would be a good free one to test your CPU/RAM

Unigine Heaven is a free one for the GPU. Technically its a benchmark but it puts a very realistic load on the GPU.

Download HW monitoring (Not sure if that's what you linked) and see what the temps get up to. If during either test it crashes or freezes you can narrow down which component is causing the issue.

If none of those are causing the issue then could be hard drive. I bought a brand new 250 gigabyte SSD that was faulty after a month. But run those tests first so you can do process of elimination.

I would rather agree on what we share, than fight on what we don't. - Myself

The temp of your cpu is 13c and it should be around 40c,

I am not sure if I am reading this right. I could be wrong, But in my opinion your CPU is degrading.

I could be wrong.

Edit : It very possible that it`s simply windows, that is bad, a clean install may fix this.
