Nvidia graphics drivers won't install

TL;DR: My drivers wouldn't update so I uninstalled them and now they wont install.

 

When I upgraded the processor in my PC my graphics card (GTX 1060) decided to only output to one monitor and my graphics card stopped showing up in Device Manager and Task Manager. So I tried to update my graphics driver but it wouldn't work so I tried a couple more times, restarted before each attempt. Every time I tried it temporarily made my graphics card show up in Task Manager and output to both my monitors and then fail updating everything and return to a state of my graphics card not being recognised by Task Manager or Device manager.

 

So I uninstalled my graphics drivers and like before they wont install again. Here's a screen shot: https://i.imgur.com/yOmPqBL.png Any help is appreciated thanks.

@Jake M By any chance have you looked in your Bio's to see if it reverted to your on board graphics as your main GPU (If you have on board graphics) ?

Have you tried using Display Driver Uninstaller and then trying to reinstall it that way?

recommending DDU here. its the way to go when you have issues (un)installing GPU drivers.

go to device manager, and use the Windows basic driver for the gpu. then install nvidia drivers
