Help installing gpu

I only have to install my gtx 1080 for my pc build to be complete. I unlatched the slot, unscrewed the metal plates on the side, and tried to slide it in but the left metal part of the graphics card was obstructed by part of my motherboard. I have a zotac amp edition 1080, an s340 elite, and a gigabyte z370 gaming 5 if that’s helpful. There’s a picture of what’s happening below.

its sort of hard to tell what exactly is happening.  can you circle the area that s causing the obstruction in your picture?

I can’t angle the graphics card in because the cable management bar is in the way.

That bit is supposed to go between the motherboard's edge and the case. Might take some wiggling.

I’ve tried, but it physically can’t fit. It’s being blocked by the audio cover thing.

Good luck it will fit you will just have to do more angling don't worry it must fit other wise i don't see any other gpu fitting either. i hd some other issues while installing my 1070 but all is good

This is not the reason. The cover of the audio chip shouldnt block graphics cards.

Assuming the mobo is seated correctly, just bend the tabs back further and force it in.
