IS GTX 1080 FE worth upgrating over GTX 1070FE for 1080p

Em building a new Ryzen pc 

 

Ryzen R7 1700

MSI X370 SLI PLUS

Corsair LPX 3200MHZ 16GB

Samsung Evo 850 250GB SSD

WD black 1TB

GTX 1070FE

CM 690 which I already have

GX 750W Coolermaster which I already have

 

I want to ask is GTX 1080FE worth upgrade over GTX 1070FEW for 1080p? or should I buy a new case

What refresh rate?

 

Also, consider a different mobo. MSI's AM4 mobos aren't the greatest.

I would get a different MOBO and more storage personally 

Ex frequent user here, still check in here occasionally. I stopped being a weeb in 2018 lol

for 1080p the gtx 1080 really doesn't make too much sense, however if you upgrade the screen in the future might be worth getting it now. 4k panels are really not that expencive any more...

problem is I could only find this X370 motherboard is my country I have 144hz 1080p monitor

No it isn't, just play with reduced in-game settings and wait for Volta apparently.

The Ryzen line up is not exactly the processors you buy for high refresh rate either.
