So I wanna get a PC for Christmas, and while I would like to get a new system at the moment I think second hand is going to be better for my budget. I've found a PC on Gumtree for 750 AUD that has an i5-4670k with a Corsair AIO, an Asus Maximus board, GTX 970, 16gb DDR3 ram, a dual SSD raid 0 boot drive and a 3TB hard drive. It also comes with a mechanical keyboard and a gaming mouse. The bloke bought it new a few years back for $2500 and apparently just hasn't had the time to use it, and in the photos there are legit cobwebs in it so I believe him. For 750 AUD is this something I should be jumping at or pass on this one.

And also if I get this I'm gonna need a monitor. I know this should really be in the monitor section, but what type of monitor would you guys and girls recommend. I've played on my mates system and he's got a curved ultrawide screen which was awesome to play on but those are bloody expensive. So my question is, is the "experience" still ok if the screen isn't curved, like this (https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/lg-25-219-2560x1080-full-hd-ultrawide-ips-led-gaming-monitor-25um58-p-lg/), or just get a normal curved screen, like this (https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/samsung-27-169-1920x1080-full-hd-va-curved-led-monitor-lc27f390fhexxy-samsung/), or something different that you would recommend.

I trust what people say on here so I know you all will be helpful,

Thanks everyone.

That useless Raid 0 SSD set up lol... any ways good system for the asking price go for it, and buy the LG 29UM68-P for monitor instead, as 25 inches ultrawides are painfully small, like honestly speaking the screen is too narrow for the 2560x1080p resolution.

Yea Raid 0 was the first thing in the listing haha. And thanks for the recommendation on the monitor, just means I'm gonna have to save a few weeks for the monitor. I'll just play on my TV for the time being which is fine.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Anyways thanks to both of you:)
