You want to overclock a little bit at a time after you find a good starting point online, then run a 30 min stress test after each one, when your system crashes during a stress test, go to the last overclock and run a 24 hour stress test, if it fails, go to the last one and try again.  Then use the highest overclock which doesn't make your system crash during the 24 hour stress test.  You will probably want to go up in steps of 50 or 100 megahertz, so 0.05 or 0.1 Ghz per step of overclock increase.
