Bottlenecked ?

Hi boyz , can u help me i have 12gb ram i7 2900 3.4ghz amd radeon 5450 512mb , when i play csgo the fps goes maximum 40fps in low settings in 1280x1024 when its 640x480 in low settings runs in 60fps , i saw a lot of videos of people playing csgo with those spec 2gb ram core2duo amd radeon hd 5450 512mb in HD in low settings in 80 fps , i have more stronger pc than them but i dont know what is the problem . the cpu usage when im playing is 16% , and gpu usage is 98% sometime 100% , which is bottlenecked , or what is the problem , or or how to remove bottleneck , help guys pleaseee.

have you commited all the cores to CS:GO? like in the launch settings? also the I7 2900 is something i havent heard of before, sure thats not a 2600?

Get a better gpu probably :shrug:

it appears your GPU is the bottleneck. Most of the CSGO test I saw with the card all appear to be using the 1g version of the card.

radeon 5450? do you realize how weak of a GPU this is really?!...it's even worse than a potato...get a new graphics card.

yeah but he is getting drops in the low 20's range quite a lot...and what settings are these? the game clearly isnt running well in this footage.

Then you should expect that performance. I did not see the FPS go above the low 40s. I did not see any frame rate that was even close to the 80s.
