how to upgrade (ssd question)

Just bought a new pc with the hdd's in my sig

 If I install windows 7 now on ssd and I wanna upgrade to win 8.1 on saturday how will I do this? Also will I lose all my stuff? P.s. Can you delete stuff off an ssd?

Clean install is the best way. I recommend to do a format and install a fresh full Windows 8 install, no upgrades. I have had problems in the past from trying to do it the fast way by upgrading. Just do a backup of your data and then do a fresh install, any good computer wiz would say the same. :) GL
