Hey guys and gals,

im new to computers as i have recently moved from console, ive been on computer for about a month now and it has been on of the greatest decisions of my life, but yesterday after turning my computer on i wasn’t greeted with a very nice screen, i got the Blue Screen of death which had the error message “BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO” as i know very little about computers and spending over $2000 on my first computer, id greatly appreciate it if anyone would be willing to get in contact with me and help resolve my issue.

If you've had it a month, what are some changes or downloads you've done in the past few days?

did you build it yourself? are you sure that everything is plugged in properly? It doesn't seem likely to me that a working new component would fail after such a short while.

Ofcourse it could also be a software issue, as ninjake said.
