hey guys i recently bought an hd6870 for a super budget build, but when i run benchmarks or at random times, my screen will displace, so the entire screen thinks its moved 3 inches to the right, and if i move my mouse all the the way to the right, it jumps to the left of the screen and caps out there. When i run furmark the screen just jumps everywhere and i get a yellowy lined frozen screen, also it will have white horizontal lines like a tv on av settings where it just goes fuzzy and moves up and down the screen. Is my gpu dead? its not overheating, it has more than enough power, all drivers are up to date, tried different input slots (hdmi and dvi), tried two diff monitors, still having the same problem. No clue why. Just typing here on this forum with no load is fine.

Try a new cable, make sure all is well fit in.

test the monitor with another device to make sure it isn't faulty.

If error persists make sure you have no overclocking going on in the card, if it is a factory overclocked one dial it back a bit using MSi Afterburner, if nothing solves yes the GPU has reach close to its end of life.

Not dead just yet, but dying for sure :P

You can still DDU in safe mode and reinstall the latest available driver for this card fresh new if you haven't done so already...
