I've got medal of honour airborne on no disk, but no optical drive. What i did, thanks to another person on this forum, was get the files from the disk onto a usb using my laptow with opt drive then go from the usb to my PC. Then i used imgburn to turn the files into an iso file and mounted it. When i have the iso mounted and try to play the game, i'm told that it's the wrong disk and that i need to insert the original disk. what do i do?

you have to get the iso file from the disk

use deamon tools to do this

disc to iso

ive got the iso from exactly the same files as on the disk

You got files. Not copy of disc. There's obviously some hidden file etc. missing. Or even DRM which links key and disc together. Meaning that you need .ISO of your disc. Or you can try with .ISO of someone else's disc.

SecuROM is detecting some type of "emulation software" on your PC. That could be something as simple as CD/DVD burning software such as Nero. If you don't have any drive emulation software on the PC, then burning software is usually the cause.

Quote

I suggest you to uninstall any burning software like Nero and drive emulation software like Alcohol 120% or Daemon Tools,

you dont need any other software to mount the iso so install any other shit
