I have grey lines on my monitor if I set it to 144hz.. Please help

TommyTheHeist

Hello all. So I will first explain my problem, then i'll list my specs. I have AOC G2460F monitor. It is connected using Display Port and set to 144hz refresh rate. I also have a second monitor connected (but im sure this is not the case). When my main monitor (AOC) is set to 144hz, I get several grey lines to appear. Two somewhere around middle of the screen, and about three at the top of the screen. Now I must mention that they are barely visible and it depends on what am I doing. For example, right now as Im typing here, I do not see them but... I do see them sometimes. The less hz I set, the less visible those lines are. If I set monitor to 60hz, I dont see them at all. I tried using DVI - D dual link also but I get the same results. When I bought this monitor, I had no problems. All I want to know is if this is problem with my monitor or with my graphics card? Judging by the fact that those lines still appear while using different connectors and only on this monitor, my guess is that the problem is with my monitor but I just want to be sure. I have few photos attached so you could see what am I talking about.

Here are those lines visible:

If you look closely, sometimes they act weird and disappear outside some areas:

And If I set my monitor to 60hz, those lines are not visible:

Monitors:

the problem I have with> AOC G2460F at 144hz

second> Philips 206Vla at 60hz

CPU Intel i5-4590

Graphics card: GTX 1060 6 GB

Power Supply: some random.. "Modecom", 600W

Please don't tell me to use my monitor at 60hz, I bought it so I could use it @144hz for gaming... :D
