Speaker fill option not working in Realtek HD Audio Manager

I have a 5.1 speaker setup. In the Realtek HD Audio Manager program, I can test the sound, and all speakers work, yet in anything that isn't a game, I get output from just the front 2 speakers. Ticking the 'speaker fill' option does nothing. I have the correct drivers. I have tried enabling surround through device manager.

Fixed it myself, no idea how, but I can't get my sub to work. It also does not work in games. It works in testing though.
