Help needed with future build

Hello everyone. 

 

So basically I started working this month, and I'm planning to save up money so I can build my self a new High endish~ Gaming PC. I would be able to buy everything by summer of next year. My budget is around 2000$ US, but I want to spend around 1800$. I would appreciate if any of you could help me with a parts list. The only specific things I want is and Intel i7 8th gen and a Nvidia GTX 1080, also a ssd and a nice PSU. I'm planning on gaming in this rig and also some video editing and programming.

 

Feel free to give me any feedback.

 

PD: I really want this rig to last me a while without upgrading, for example the MOBO or something else. Also if the build you suggest exceeds 1800$  it's okay as long as it is less de 2000$ US.

Giving hints now for a system that will be put together earliest next year around christmas won't make much sense.

 

There will surely be some new products coming during next year. 

 

So not getting excited now... even prices may change.

if you're going to buy this summer it makes no sense to look into parts now. things will have changed by then. nVidia's new cards should be out by then

Agreed. Wait until you have the money to buy, then look at making lists. Pricing fluctuates too much, it makes no sense to make a list now.
