Hey there guys!

I am planning to get a PC in the end of the year and i came with a list (Used PC for Sale Specifications)

CPU: Intel Core i7 4770K
Code Name: Haswell
Clock Freq: 3500 MHz standard
Cores: 4 (8 threads)
Package: Socket 1150 LGA
Motherboard: Gigabyte H97M-D3H
North Bridge: Intel Haswell
Total Memory: 8192 MB
Memory 1: Team Group 4096 MB DDR3 1600 MHz 12800MB/s
Memory 2: Team Group 4096 MB DDR3 1600 MHz 12800MB/s
GPU 1: Intel HD Graphics 4600
GPU 2: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 2048 MB 1020 MHz by MSI TwinFrozr
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Hard Drive 1: Samsung SSD 750 EVO 120 GB

DVD Writer: Samsung Super Writemaster
PSU: Cooler Master Silent Pro 600W
Casing: Norco Stainless Steel Rackmount 19" Industrial Grade

Total = $630.33

I can Upgrade some parts (if necessary) to

1. Sapphire RX 480 8GB Nitro+ = $259

2. MSI Z97 Gaming 3 = $121

what do you think guys? and as the rules of New Builds and Planning section i will give you 5 points about me and the PC

1. Location & Budget

I am in Indonesia, where parts are so expensive (PC parts of course) because the taxes is way high like $140 in Graphics Card section (GTX 1070 can be as expensive as 1080 here)

For Budget, i wouldn't get myself over the $1000 Line

2. Aim

I am looking forward to play at 1080p in Refresh rates above 60FPS. The heaviest game i will probably play is Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon

3. Monitors

I already have a TV that has 4 HDMI Input, for the specified name is a Samsung Curved 40" FHD TV. i guess i am looking forward to play privately by buying the LG 43UD79

4. Peripherals

I just found a $59 Corsair Void Pro, so i might go for that. Also the mouse and keyboard i have isn't gaming specified

5. Why am I upgrading?

I have a LGA 775 System right now that still performs good actually (Playing in 720p at Need for Speed Most Wanted 2005). and i want to have a significantly better PC than the old one

Ask me if you want the specs of it, but spoiler alert i am using Pixelview GF9400GT

Thank you guys!

I would get a better GPU for 1080p at high refresh. A GTX 1060, RX 580, RX 480, GTX 970 or equivalent would be my recommendations for 144HZ with low/medium/high settings with some dips. A GTX 1070, Vega 56, GTX 980, for a no compromises experience at 144HZ and for low/medium/high 180-240HZ.

I suggest a 4790k over the 4770k . The 4790k will run cooler and has a higher base clock. Also not all H97 boards can overclock so Going z97 is a better bet

I would totally get it + that mobo/gpu upgrade.  Maybe a psu upgrade as well, sell the stuff you replace to lessen the costs

i can get a $115 EVGA G750 GQ, well i can't find PSU that is bronze at less than $80

@Ordinarily_Greater

If you will be using the H97M_D3, there is little point in getting an unlocked cpu. Either change to a Z97 motherboard, or drop to an i7-4770 or i7-4790 cpu. I would opt for the locked cpu. Preferably the i7-4790.

The word "can" suggests it is still under consideration.

The MSI z97 price, is that the cost of changing the motherboard, or the cost of the motherboard? If the former, I doubt it is worth the added cost.
