Yes, a CX/CXM 550W would be perfect for that build.

I don't know a bunch about overclocking, but these two look like good options for not much more, just to be safe: https://pcpartpicker.com/products/compare/CVkD4D,R2mxFT/

750w is overkill when you can't even SLI on the motherboard

Yeah, but it's not that much more. Sure, a CX550 (2017) can run this build but it will run hotter (aka louder) and won't be as efficient - the Seasonic unit is discounted and is only 15$ more. I'd say it's worth it, especially if you're getting additional 200W of headroom ^_^

Why not go for something like this LINK you actually get a specified warranty and the rating are alot better.

The grey-label CX is a well-built PSU. While the EVGA's warranty is two years longer, 80+ ratings do not equate to build quality.

And, frankly, user reviews on Amazon are useless.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

pretty sure the CX550 has the same warranty as the GQ, corsair lists it as 5 years.

You can overclock fine on a CX550W, however, I would suggest getting a motherboard that has better VRMs for overclocking. The Asus B350 Prime Plus is OK and better than your Tomahawk.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
