1080ti Triple 4k monitors? (NOT FOR GAMES)

Hi everyone, is a 1080ti powerful enough for triple 4k monitors for WORK not games?

 

If I game, I would use only one. Surround gaming makes me nauseous haha

Thanks! Is the Titan XP really THAT much better to justify the cost? Considering also that I am in Brazil where everything is twice the price haha.

for triple 4k monitors you'll be fine even with a gtx 1060 6gb. It's only when you start gaming where  you'll run into frame issues.

I would say no. Let's assume you're looking at an EVGA 1080TI, maybe the FTW.

Transistor count is the same.

Single and Double Point Precision is 3% greater on the XP.

Base clock is 10% lower on the XP

Memory clock is 3% greater on the XP

XP has 7% more CUDA cores

XP has 1 additional GB of RAM

Bit width is 9% greater on the XP

Memory bandwidth is 13% greater on the XP

MSRP in USD is 43% greater for the XP (Comparing current price of $840 to $1200)

 

Conclusion: At almost double a third the cost more for the XP, an average of a 10% boost in performance isn't warranted. For non-gaming, the Ti should do exactly what the XP does.

No, it's not. I'd go for the 1080 Ti, and if you SLI them I think they can handle triple 4K gaming at lower settings.
