[Advice needed] MSI 1070Ti Armor or iGame 1070Ti Vulcan X

M150

I'm going to buy a new card and these 2 are having a similar price at my location:

1. MSI 1070Ti Armor: https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/GeForce-GTX-1070-Ti-ARMOR-8G/Overview

2. Colorful iGame 1070Ti Vulcan X: http://www.colorfly.eu/iGame/Colorful iGameGTX1070Ti Vulcan X.html

MSI is a well-known brand, and Colorful is not... but there're some reviews stated that this card has custom PCB + high OC potential (not really sure if those reviews are just for marketing or not). So, please let me know your experience if you're using 1 of these 2 cards right now, regarding performance, OC potential (max core + memory clock), temperature, build quality... Great thanks.

My brother is using Colorful iGame 1070 and its pretty good overclocker and has good cooling compared to MSI.

I have no experience with iGame cards but the MSi Armor is not a very good cooler and the Armor and Aero gets the worse GPU chips after MSi does its binning process to ensure their higher end models like the Gaming X and Corsair Hydro gets better chips...

I don't know... I think I might of take the chances with the iGame card.

Aero yes, armor no.  The armor has the fantastic gaming X PCB and with an aftermarket cooler its the best value option

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

Yup, I agreed about the PCB of Armor as it's the same with gaming X. But I'm not sure about it's cooler + OC potential vs Colorful iGame as like Princess Cadence said above, MSI gave their high-end cards all the best chips already.

The board partners cant bin the chips. Nvidia did this so it wouldn't affect 1080 sales

So you mean it's only a lucky draw regarding OC potential no matter it's a high-end or medium range card, well-known brand or no-name?

Oh no what nVidia did was forbid factory overclocking, binning has always been normal business practice.

I was wrong, I just did a little more reasearch and @Princess Cadence is right

The other option is Palit 1070 Ti Dual ($50 less) or with $100 more, they're MSI 1070 Ti Gaming X and Asus ROG Strix 1070 Ti Advance Edition. But honestly with that $100, I'd rather spend on replacing stock cooler with an AIO water cooling.

The dual isn't the worst cooler in the world, I would consider it + an AIO

Palit card is having high RMA percentage and bad reputation of customer service in my country - so I'd like to avoid it.
