CPL666K9

I final finished putting the pieces together and made the purchases' the other day.  Please look over my list and make constructive comments as some area maybe over kill.  Main use for computer will be gaming, research, mapping and backing up my Blu-ray movies and music. I plan on this system being playable for the next few years.  I am hoping the monitor will help with my eye strain.     -Tony

I wouldnt buy the 3000 rpm noctua ppc fans, you can only downregulate them to 50% or so before the stop working, and at

1500 rpm theyll still be quite audible.

Also why 2 expensive gaming monitors? I dont think you are planning to game on them at the same time.

Holy shit that`s a nice setup but one question do you really need 2 165hz gaming monitors ? Most likely you will only use one at a time. Since money dont seem to be an issue for you why dont spend it on a nice 4 K 60hz panel and a wqhd 165hz  instead of 2 165 hz monitors.

Probable didn't think that through very well.  May end up giving one to my wife and getting a 4K 60hz monitor

Noise is not an issue.

Really?

Each of the fans can put out over 41 dB.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

I'm hard of hearing and do most of my listening through headset.  If they are to loud I will return them.

Was able to get the second monitor cancelled.  Any suggestions for a good monitor for searching the internet, watching movies or just a good all around monitor.

So the second monitor is for 2 monitor multitasking or watching stuff while you game?

You could just grab any 27 1440p  60 hz ips monitor, those go for sub 300$ now.

Otherwise you could also get a larger 4k 34-40 inch monitor for multitasking and watching movies,

but that depends on your desk situation and on possible monitor arms.

Thanks for the information.  Gives me something to research.
