Dual monitor surround sucks.... the bezel between the display is literally in in the middle of the image you would be looking at... triple monitor surround is the way to go if your heart is set on it.  but honestly, i played that way for a week ,the novelty wore off quick, and im back to single monitor gaming.

Also,  for day-to-day stuff.  having your monitors in surround mode is literally the largest PITA of all time.  At least IMO i use the windows snapping functionality constantly, which doesnt work well when windows thinks your dual or triple monitor setup is a single display.

Dual-monitor surround will net you nothing in games. I would just leave it as is. 

 

If you get a third monitor, go for it! It makes a ton of difference when playing RTS, shooters, or anything aside from puzzle games.

Get a third monitor off craigslist and go at in. Never seen a reason to do it with 2 though.
