So I have around a £500 budget and I want help in building a pc that I can use for gaming and also use for productivity in uni, as I am a hopeful med student.

Easy start is the CPU. For gaming and productivity, a Ryzen chip is easily the best choice. R5 is probably your best option.

Here is the build I would recommend. The only thing I would really suggest investing in as soon as you have the money would be a 128GB SSD
