Last week, this thing was working fine. It posted and booted to windows. Then I got an HDD, a fan hub, and two fans. For whatever reason, the PC won't turn on at all.

There's the build as of right now. Everything is connected properly. I even tried connecting another PSU that is known to work, and nothing.

The only thing that happens is that the PSU fan spins for a brief moment when the power button is hit, but it won't do it again unless you turn the PSU off, press the on switch, turn it on and press the on switch again.

Did the motherboard die, or is there something else at play here?

Power surge fry mobo? That’s the only thing I could think of is a problem with the mobo or maybe a cable short?!?

I dunno. I only got the motherboard about two weeks ago. So, I can just RMA it. How is AsRock with their customer support?

I've tried bridging the power pins with a screwdriver and it did nothing.

Did you buy from iBUYPOWER?

sorry I had to.

Have you tried testing your PSU with your other machines? Then test the PSUs from those machines in your current one.

Figured it out. Apparently, it happens when I plug in the fan hub. Maybe the fan hub is causing a short? Oh well. Going to buy a fan controller instead.
