Z270 ITX or M-ATX + case suggestions

TomR

I'm giving my desktop a makeover to be more portable and easier to move around. I'm looking for suggestions on a Z270 ITX or M-ATX motherboard and a small case. I have a 7700k, ASUS DUAL Series GTX 1070, 2x8GB TridentZ and a 140mm Kraken X42. Any budget that's reasonable, a cyber monday sale would be ideal. Thanks.

Also, can I use a Z370 board with my 7700k in case I want to upgrade to 8th gen in the future?

What's a reasonable budget to you? That's entirely different from person to person. I have a friend who won't spend more than $25 on a backpack, I'll spend $350 on a bag, and my last gf had a $5,000 purse. All of which we deem "reasonable" purchases.

What style case do you want? Shoebox? Cube? Skinny tower? Do you want a window?

Use your logic. I have a mid-range setup, and i mention a sale price would be ideal, I'm obviously not going to spend thousands of dollars on a case. I'm looking for something on the mainstream market.

I was. That still doesn't tell us what a reasonable price is to you. Some people wouldn't want to spend more than $60, some $100, some $150.

It still matters. Mainstream isn't a single price, it easily spans a hundred dollars if not more.
