Heya guys,

Seeing I finally got a steady job (after 7 years of meh), looking to upgrade my 9 year old pc, which can't keep up anymore :(

1. Budget & Location

+/- € 1000 without monitor

Belgium! (a small little country in Europe)

2. Aim

Webbrowsing, gaming (LoL, Rocket League, CS:GO and PUBG)

Smooth gaming experience without constant lag/fps drops at 1080p/1440p

3. Monitors

I currently own a 24" BenQ RL2455HM, but I do want to add another 24"/27" screen with either 144hz and 1080p/1440p

4. Peripherals

I have those, nothing required.

5. Why are you upgrading?

My old PC, which is 9 years old (almost 10), can't run the games I want to play anymore. Especially PUBG is just horrible atm.

Through the years, I've changed some parts, which I do not have to buy anymore.

These include:

Case (NZXT H440)

PSU (Corsair CX750M)

SSD (Samsung 850)

Plan

I've been looking into getting either

1: Ryzen 5 1600, 16gb ram, b350 + GTX 1060/70  + 144Hz monitor (with our without g-sync)

2: Ryzen 5 1600, 16gb ram, b350 + RX 570/80 + 144Hz monitor with freesync

3: I5 7600k, cooler, 16gb ram, z270, GTX 1060/70  + 144Hz monitor (with our without g-sync)

4: I5 7600k, cooler, 16gb ram, z270, RX 570/80 + 144Hz monitor with freesync

I'm looking for tips to help me make my decision, because I've googled, youtubed everything and still can't make it!

Especially in the graphics card + monitor combo I need help. I could save some money going for an RX580 and buy a freesync monitor (which are significantly cheaper) or go get a more expensive 1070(ti) and get a non-g-sync monitor.

Does freesync/g-sync matter that much when it's a 144Hz monitor?

Thanks in advance!

FreeSync/G-Sync are always good to have, especially with higher refresh rates.

I would choose option number 1 that you listed.
