Hi i wase and to know if my hdmi port on my monitor (benq/zowie xl2411z) it is pass through.

The reason that i want to know its because i want to do like linus did in a video that he used the hdmi port of his monitor to pass the image to the laptop.

I doubt it. You will probably need a splitter and a capture card since your laptop won't have HDMI in.

It doesn't.

And what Linus did was use a dedicated device (capture card) that basically takes the HDMI input and using a program you can see the display (and record it) on another device (his laptop, in this example).

A capture card will also have an HDMI out, which made it so his monitor also had a picture.
