You may notice there is no video card on here, because I have yet to make a decision on what I want (and prices are skyrocketing due to bitcoin mining.) Also, the monitor and cpu cooler are still up in the air. So any suggestions would be appreciated.  :D

Another question I have is will 1.6v ram be compatible with the haswell chips? Other ram im looking at is this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231445 (just went on sale too )

Looks good. Also, I would change the case from a 400R to a 300R Window.

GPU?

and plz get windows 8(.1)

And also, why. I know Windows 7 is almost EOL, but it's still a great OS. Maybe he dislikes Windows 8.1.

1) Go with lower frequency on the RAM (go as I as you can while still having a CL rating of 9).

2) Go with a 250 GB EVO drive. The speed is cut in half when the SSD goes from 240/256 too 120/128 :(

3) Ditch the Optical drive if you don't know if you will need or not. You can install Windows of a flashdrive for example ;)

4) Don't know shit about the monitor myself, but the CPU cooler is epic so if you can afford then go with it :D

5) As for a GPU I would suggest not getting anything that is good for mining (Stay away from 7950 in particular) if you ain't going to mine yourself as those are just very overpriced nowadays... Maybe a 280X/a 280 or a 770? :)

Thats what I needed to hear. Thanks!

Get some CL9 ram, 1600 is fine. There isn't enough performance difference to justify the extra price.

It's been confirmed by Intel employees that 1.65v ram works perfectly fine with Haswell. The specification is just there so people don't overvolt their ram like hell for overclocking.

What's the system being used for?
