And is there a way that linus himself  helps me with this ??

it has similar gaming performance (for now). but it has hyperthreading which the i5 7500 doesnt, so in multitasking and if future games utilize more threads then ryzen will outperform 7500. Also, ryzen 5 can be overclocked to about 3.8-3.9 even with stock cooler, and that gives it more edge over 7500.
