hello, so i just bought a dell 2515h (2560x1440 60Hz) to use it in portrait orientation, but after reading some reviews, it wont support full 1440p at 60Hz using hdmi, and i only have 2 hdmi's ports available in my graphics card, so i started looking around for adapters and shit like that and i found this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BXMOREI/?tag=linus21-20

will that work for my case? or what can i do?, thanks and sorry for my bad inglish :)

That will work, I have that adapter and have tested it at 1440p 60 Hz.

I think it will probably work over HDMI though; every thread I can find about being unable to get 1440p 60 Hz on the U2515H over HDMI are all using integrated graphics, older graphics cards (like NVIDIA 500 series), or laptop models with limited pixel clocks.

People with modern graphics cards can run 1440p 60 Hz over HDMI on that monitor just fine.

yeah, true.

just make sure you have the correct specification of hdmi cables. i believe 2.0 is what you need on your gpu, cable and display.

2.0 is only needed for 4K 60 Hz, HDMI 1.4 can support 1440p 60 Hz just fine.
