PC lagging when it shouldn't?

My friend just got this PC:

(He got all the parts new but they were all on super good sales anyway, don't worry about that)

 

He installed pubg immediately and had some lag. His monitor is 1920x1080 and all of his settings were completely low. Any reason why this could be happening?

you said he installed pubg immediately, did he skip installing drivers for his GPU?

 

EDIT: also what kind of lag is it? input lag? server lag? low frame rate lag?

are all the drivers installed?

 

that includes chipset,sound, LAN and GPU drivers

 

Also is he on Windows 10 64bit?
