System Help / Advice / Compatible Parts(?)

Hey guys, new to the forums but a long time viewer of Linus.

Just joined the forums a while ago just to lurk around and thought I might ask you guys If the parts ive selected for my new custom PC build are all compatible and if I could go for some upgrades without going to much over the current cost of the PC which is estimate around $1200 AUD.

I'm using;

> i5 4670K 3.8GHz (w/ overclock up to 4.0GHz)

> MSI Z87-G43 Motherboard

> Gigabyte Radeon R9 280X OC 3GB

> Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB)

> Corsair CX-750 Modular PSU

> CoolerMaster Hyper 212X CPU Fan

> Corsair Carbide 200R

> Samsung 840 Series SSD 120GB

> WD Black 1TB

Any tips or advice is appreciated.

Looks good, can't see anything wrong with it, psu is a lower end item, so maybe get a stronger 750/850w for future crossfire but thats a strong build.

PC: Corsair C70 Arctic, FX 9370, Corsair H80i, Gigabyte 990fxa-ud3, Corsair Vengence 16gb, Palit JetStream GTX 970, OCZ Vertex 4 128gb and Western Digital Blue 1Tb + 500gb, Antec Gamer 520w

Peripherals: Logitech G19 and SteelSeries Sensei RAW

Toshiba L50-A: i7 4700mq, 8gb, 1TB HDD, GT 740M 2gb

Thanks, I'll hopefully receive my parts before the end of the year.

The only thing I might do is change up the power supply to slightly future proof any upgrades I may do to it.

The parts are compatible. If you're looking to crossfire, it looks good. If not, a decent 550w would be plenty.

Caviar blacks aren't worth the money.

Go for a blue or barracuda instead--whichever is cheaper.

Oh okay, thanks for the reply.

Ill stick with the 750w just in case I do decide to crossfire in the future.
