[Newegg - US] HGST/Hitachi Deskstar 6TB $160

ARikozuM

NEWEGG LINK - $160 with promo code EMCBBCB27

Great drive and great capacity for the price. There was a similar, but better deal yesterday for 4x4TB WD Red non-Pro drives yesterday for $400, but I didn't post it. This is a good deal for those of you looking to fill your PC with more storage than most Steam libraries contain.

I would recommend this deal for those looking to fill their NAS with three drives for RAID 5.

Or four or more drives with RAID 6. Three, very large, drives in RAID 5 sounds scary :S.

On a related note, there's also an 8TB WD Easystore, that's going to be $130 on BF (online I hope), that probably has an 8tb WD Red in it. Albeit it will lose its warranty if you can't remove it without damaging the enclosure. Regardless, I'll likely pick one of myself.

And on a side note, I do really wish SSDs would see a massive price drop already, I really want to fill my NAS with SSDs and put it in an extremely compact custom case, alas, I'm not willing to spend $10k on SSDs sadly.
