im going to try explaining this as best as i can basicly when i shutdown my windows 10 x64 desktop build 16299.64 version 1709 it shuts down like it should or so i though when i boot my pc all those 15 watched youtube videos i watched before shuttingdown starts playing at once before i even enter the password to unlock my pc this is so anoying when i shutdown my pc i expect it to clear apps and programs and then turn off or else i would just use sleep mode 

 

things i have done 

* disabled "let me pick up where i left off"

* disabled "fast startup"

* contacted ms support got the steps to upgrade troght media creation tool they could not help at all 

* googled a lot found some comfusing results within regedit and changing values and stuff like that but i know internet is a crule place to be so i dont dear to try it when i dont understand it

There is no shutdown in Windows 10 by default. The only way to easily clear your session is by disabling hibernation and hybrid sleep or rebooting.

so they have disabled shutdown in the latest updates ?XD

It's been this way since Windows 8.1. Check the comment above you, by the way.

i did but the problem is i have been able to shutdown before on win 10 no problem at all but now it saves state so its like they just disabled it

I'd consider doing a factory reset or reinstall. It's probably some hidden setting somewhere. Tracking it down for days is less efficient than just reinstalling, so that's what I'd recommend.

i have done that ms support said i should try it but no help at all -.- forgot to mention it in the post :/ but thanks for trying self-taught technician is often better then the real thing xD atleast thats what me and my friends think xD
